Welcome to “Topical Musings” at The Moscati Law Firm website. Here, it is my intent to discuss items of interest to visitors to the site and the general public. These may vary in subject matter, but I expect going forward they will largely be about law, politics, and occasionally, sports – pretty broad categories to be sure. I will likely be somewhat of a commentator on the “issues of the day.” That said, there will be no set schedule of blog posts, i.e. daily or weekly; rather, it will be when the mood strikes, and I feel like I have something worthwhile to say. Initially, Topical Musings (TM) will not have a commentary section as others have advised that sometimes doesn’t go well. I would, however, encourage those who feel they’d like to comment, or commence a dialogue, on an issue to utilize the Contact form on the website, and I will then have the opportunity to review your submission and respond if appropriate. Ideally, this could all happen in an open forum, but at this point I’d rather dip my toe into this arena rather than dive headfirst. As time goes by, I am hopeful TM can transition to an open environment with interesting discussion among reasonable people . If we get to that point, I do not need or seek uniformity of opinion, but would ask for civility, mutual respect, and hopefully, reasoned thought and analysis. Most importantly, I’d like Topical Musings to be fun and worthwhile for all participants.
